One of our riders checked in with us last night, giving a slightly quick review of some of the top locations to wakeboard in uk. Mark Tillet has free reign this summer to check out some of the hottest wakeboarding places in the UK and is reporting back to us, when hes done. We like his honest approach here, so weve included it (along with some photos from him) as it was wrote.......
mate we are so long overdue a catch up. but 'im just gonna babble on about 3 cables I've ridden in the last 2 weeks. 1st we had the AAC wakeboard champs at WMSki South cerney Will, Pete any Katie to name just a few looked after us totally. We had a week of boat and cable ending in a comp on both. WM Cable is so much better this year with the intro of a load new obstacles inc Left and right kickers sliders and a fun box. The boat lake is missing a wakeboard boat but stick 10 people in the Nautique and it kicks up a ridable wake.
Nxt Stop was 10feethigh comp at Rother Valley Sheffield as always Andy and his Crew make you more than Welcome. only a four corner cable and a little exposed if the north wind blows. A massive transfer box/Aframe that bites if you get it wrong. Some sick Riding was seen as it was also a stop for the relentless pro tour. A massive party at the lakeside cable bar with camping on site most of all a fantastic cafe shop at really reasonable prices.
Left there in a hurry on sunday to ride at boxend in bedford to ride the new transfer box a lot of work has gone into this and it's a must to ride. boxend is easily the uk's best cable park with so much to play on and an X-star on site too.
Russ always looks after you and a fantastic club house with bar and resterant to chill in after.
Next is back to WM on Sat for their longest day summer Jam - Good Times. I'm off to oz a week on wed so unlikely to catch you b4 then. hope all's cool with you must talk soon and I promise I will do more work and stop messing around lol MXX
